The Eastern Michigan University (EMU) lacrosse team has been named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Academic Honor Squads list for the 2023-24 academic year, as announced on July 24. This marks the second consecutive year that EMU has received this recognition.

To qualify for the list, a team must maintain a cumulative grade-point average (GPA) of 3.20 or higher for the academic year. The EMU lacrosse team achieved a GPA of 3.738, one of the highest among all EMU athletic teams. Nationally, Eastern Michigan is one of 325 women's lacrosse programs across NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA to earn this honor in 2023-24.

Additionally, 14 student-athletes from EMU's lacrosse team earned individual academic honors this year. Mackenzie Blackwell and Avery Schwab were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Women's At-Large Team by maintaining a GPA of 3.50 or higher and participating in more than 80% of their team's competitions. They were joined by teammates Abby Alderman, Amber Alderman, Caitlin Beahm, Samantha Borgert, Gina D'Alessio, Kelsea Dague, Kyleigh Dill, Tracy Grollman, Skylar Hilmer, Haley Hodak, Sydney Lawrence, and Annika Wozney on the Academic All-Mid-American Conference (MAC) team.

The third season of Eastern Michigan lacrosse will commence in September with Fall Ball Play Dates leading up to the start of the 2025 season in mid-February.
