Eastern Michigan University's track and field teams will participate in three separate events as part of their fourth weekend in the outdoor season. They are scheduled to compete in the Wake Forest Invitational hosted by Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, the Georgia Tech Invitational at the George C. Griffin Track in Atlanta, and the Elaine Leigh Invite at the OU Track, hosted by Oakland University.
The Wake Forest Invitational starts with the women's 3000m steeplechase and concludes with the men's 5000m by the evening. The Georgia Tech meet will begin with field events and conclude on the same day, with events resuming the next day. The Elaine Leigh Invite takes place on a single day.

Track athletes Gabe Singh and Saraiah Walkes have been recognized as the MAC Track Athletes of the Week for their notable performances at the 44 Farms Team Invitational hosted by Texas A&M. Singh recorded top times in the 400m hurdles and his team's performance in the 4x400m relay was significant. Meanwhile, Walkes excelled in the 200m and 400m events, securing high rankings both regionally and nationally.
Previous competitions included impressive personal bests and achievements by team members including Mia Biehl, Nyla Joseph-Guevara, and Isabella Brent at various events, demonstrating Eastern Michigan's strong presence and proficiency in track and field.
At the upcoming competitions, athletes such as Kian Wiles, Bamidele Ajayi, and Kyra Buffen are expected to continue their strong performances across various events including sprints, middle-distance races, and jumps.
Furthermore, the Eastern men's and women's teams rank third in the MAC and hold significant standings in the USTFCCCA rankings, reflecting their overall strong performance this season.
In addition, recent changes to the coaching staff, including the promotion of Chris Best and Sterling Roberts, aim to strengthen the coaching team heading into future seasons.
