Jerry Neyer begins second term as state representative

State Representative Jerry Neyer, a Republican from Shepherd, has been inaugurated for his second term. The ceremony took place on January 8 at the Capitol in Lansing, where Michigan Supreme Court Justice Kyra H. Bolden administered the oath of office. Neyer's family, including his wife Joyce and son Sam, attended the event.

The Republicans now hold a 58 to 52 seat majority in the Michigan House of Representatives following their victory in the November 5 election.
