Eastern Michigan University (EMU) volleyball players Kendal Bonney, Surabhi Srinivasan, and Abby Stanford have been recognized with Academic All-MAC honors. This acknowledgment is part of the 2024 Volleyball Academic All-MAC Team announced by the Mid-American Conference (MAC). The team comprises 83 student-athletes.
The Academic All-MAC award is given to student-athletes who demonstrate excellence in both athletics and academics. Eligibility requires a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.20 and participation in at least half of the competitions for their sport.
This recognition is a first for Bonney, Srinivasan, and Stanford. Abby Stanford leads with a perfect 4.00 GPA as a psychology major. Surabhi Srinivasan follows with a 3.83 GPA in mathematics/secondary education, while Kendal Bonney holds a 3.75 GPA in elementary/early childhood teaching & learning.
Bonney and Stanford also received College Sports Communicators Academic All-District awards earlier this season on December 17.
