New school liaison officer, Deputy Riley Olson!

Say hello to our new school liaison officer, Deputy Riley Olson! Deputy Olson has been at the sheriff's department since December, but also worked in narcotics for 4 years, and served as the Farwell village cop from 2003-2006. He graduated from Gaylord High School and Central Michigan University. When asked if he was excited to start working with the students at Farwell Schools he said: "Absolutely, I'm on pins and needles. I can't sleep from all the excitement!"

Deputy Olson's favorite joke is: "Did you hear about the guy whose coffee got stolen?" "He was mugged!
