The Eastern Michigan University (EMU) baseball team is set to face Central Arkansas University in a three-game series from February 22-24. This marks the first meeting between the two programs. Originally planned as a four-game series, it was reduced to three games due to weather concerns. Saturday's game will begin at 4 p.m. CT, Sunday's at 12 p.m. CT, and Monday's at 1 p.m. CT.

Fans can follow the games via live stats and updates on EMU's social media channels.

In their previous series against Pitt, EMU was swept in three games. Despite strong starts, they lost the first game in extra innings after leading early and succumbed to late rallies by Pitt in subsequent games.

Graduate student catcher Harrison Travis stands out with two home runs, tying for the lead in the Mid-American Conference (MAC). Junior infielder Bruce Jellison also performed well with six hits, ranking second in MAC standings.

Pitchers Nick Keane and Tyler Kapa showed promising strikeout rates early in the season. Keane ranks first in MAC for strikeouts per nine innings while Kapa ranks second.

Looking ahead, EMU will continue its road trip with a four-game series against Presbyterian College from February 28 - March 2.

Head Coach Robbie Britt enters his second year leading EMU after previously coaching at the University of Charleston where he achieved significant success.

Senior pitcher Bobby Jones returns as an All-MAC player along with other key players like Drew Beckner and new transfers such as John Hale and Harrison Travis strengthening the roster.
