City of Howell issued the following announcement on Mar 12.
It is the priority of City staff and leadership to provide our residents with the highest level of service possible. We feel is it necessary to modify City Hall operating hours to provide a higher level of convenience for those needing to conduct City business.
As such, beginning the week of March 14th, the 2nd and 3rd floors of City Hall will be closed on Fridays indefinitely so that we may extend our business hours throughout the week. City Hall will now be open from *7am to 6pm every Monday*, and from *7am to 5pm Tuesday-Thursday*. Police Department and DPW office hours will remain the same - 7am to 5pm, M-F.
We look forward to continuing to serve you. Sending best wishes to staff that have to put up with our Communications person (me) at 7am. My eye is already twitching at the thought of my alarm Monday morning.
