State Representative Tom Kunse, R-Clare, welcomed Renee Kent, principal of Riverview Elementary School in Big Rapids, and Murphy McGougell as his guests for the Governor’s State of the State Address on Wednesday evening.
“I was absolutely thrilled to have Renee join me on the House floor for this important event,” said Kunse. “She is a dedicated leader who makes a tremendous impact on the lives of young students in Big Rapids every single day. Riverview Elementary is truly fortunate to have her at the helm, shaping the next generation with passion and commitment.”
The State of the State Address serves as a moment to reflect on Michigan’s progress and future goals. Kunse emphasized highlighting educators like Kent, who play a vital role in strengthening communities.
Kunse represents the 100th House District, which includes Mecosta, Osceola, and parts of Lake and Clare counties.
