Liam Baker delivered a strong performance in relief, pitching four innings and achieving four strikeouts, matching his career-high set earlier against Kent State University.
Giano Zuccaro also made an impact with one hit, a walk, and a stolen base. His single marked his fourth consecutive game with a hit and extended his streak of reaching base to 17 games.
This matchup marked the 176th meeting between Eastern Michigan and Toledo, with the Eagles holding a historical record of 101 wins and 75 losses against the Rockets.
