Savannah de Bock concluded her season by tying for 45th place at the NCAA Columbus Regional on May 7, 2025. This marked a significant achievement as she became the first regional competitor in the history of Eastern Michigan University's women's golf program. De Bock finished with a score of 12-over 228 over three days on the Scarlet Course at Ohio State University Golf Club.
De Bock, hailing from Ecaussinnes-d'Enghien, Belgium, was one of six individual at-large qualifiers in this event. Her final round score was a 5-over 77. After starting with par on the first four holes, she made a birdie on the fifth hole but bogeyed each of the last three holes to finish the front nine at 2-over. On the back nine, she added another bogey on hole 16 and then managed a birdie on hole 17 before concluding with a double bogey on hole 18.
This season has been notable for de Bock as she set new records for EMU's golf program. She ended with an average score of 73.1, surpassing Kelsey Murphy's previous record from the 2015-16 season by 1.6 strokes. An All-MAC First Team honoree, de Bock also achieved several other records including lowering Anna Watson's record by seven strokes during her victory at the Golfweek Red Sky Classic.
The individual title went to Lyla Louderbaugh from Kansas who scored an impressive 12-under 204, finishing eight strokes ahead of Arkansas players Maria Jose Marin and Clarisa Temelo who tied for second place.
Five teams advanced to the NCAA Championships: Kansas, Arkansas, Ohio State, University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV), and Louisiana State University (LSU). Houston narrowly missed qualifying by three shots.
Eastern Michigan will participate in one more event this season at the Women's National Golf Invitational presented by Golfweek from May 9-11 in Maricopa, Arizona.
