Eastern Michigan University (EMU) is offering fans a unique opportunity to own a piece of Rynearson Stadium turf. Thanks to donations from Maxx and Rachel Crosby, supporters can acquire a 12" x 12" section of the iconic gray turf for $150. This purchase includes a certificate of authenticity and a letter from Head Coach Chris Creighton.

The distinctive gray turf has been part of EMU's history since 2014, inspired by Coach Creighton's motivational messages. The turf holds significance for fans, with memories tied to players like halfback Samson Evans and defensive standout Maxx Crosby.

In addition to the turf sale, the university will host its 20th Annual EMU Football Golf Outing on May 18 at Eagle Crest Golf Club in Ypsilanti. The event invites participants for a day of golf, contests, and prizes alongside Coach Creighton and other supporters. Entry fees are set at $250 for individual golfers and $1,000 for foursomes. Special rates are available for alumni.

Former football players are invited to the Homecoming Lettermen's Breakfast on October 19 at the Ann Arbor Ypsilanti Eagle Crest Marriott. This gathering offers breakfast and insights into game day strategies with only 100 seats available.

The upcoming football season will feature several changes at "The Factory," including new stadium turf and renaming the field as "Maxx Crosby Field." Renovations started in March with completion expected by late May.

Fans can purchase season tickets through various channels: by calling the Eastern Athletics Ticket Office, visiting their website, or going directly to their office at George Gervin GameAbove Center. Season ticket holders receive numerous benefits such as invitations to exclusive events and discounts.

Eastern Michigan's schedule includes home games against Buffalo, Central Michigan, Miami, Toledo, Jacksonville State, and Saint Francis (Pa.), while away games include Akron, Kent State, Ohio, Western Michigan, UMass on August 31, and Washington on September 7.

Different ticket packages cater to various needs: ultimate fan season tickets with enhanced seating cost $180; reserved sections are priced at $150; general admission tickets are $108; faculty/staff/young alumni tickets cost $84; former student-athletes have an E-Club membership option for $200. The alumni season value pack provides four tickets per game for $240.

Further promotional details will be shared later this month.
