The Arizona Bowl has announced a new sponsorship agreement, rebranding the event as the "Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl Presented by Gin & Juice By Dre and Snoop." This partnership introduces an alcohol sponsor to an NCAA Bowl Game for the first time. The game is scheduled to take place on December 28, 2024, at 2:30 pm MST.

Gin & Juice By Dre and Snoop is a new ready-to-drink product from Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre's premium spirits company. The product takes its name from Snoop Dogg's 1994 song "Gin & Juice," produced by Dr. Dre.

Snoop Dogg expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership: "I've sent many players through my SYFL to colleges (and the NFL) so it's only fitting that I bring the 'juice' back to college football," he said. He added that both he and Dr. Dre are excited about taking their brand to a new level with this collaboration.

Several events will accompany the bowl game in Tucson, including charity activities and a youth football competition known as the SNOOPER Bowl. These events aim to provide opportunities for young athletes, continuing Snoop Dogg's philanthropic efforts through his Snoop Youth Football League (SYFL).

Patrick Halbert, CEO of Gin & Juice By Dre and Snoop, remarked on the collaboration: "We are honored to be working with one of our owners, Snoop Dogg, on this incredible event." Andrew Gill, Chief Strategy Officer of the brand, noted that this partnership was a natural fit.

Kym Adair, Executive Director of the Arizona Bowl, stated: "We're thrilled about our groundbreaking partnership with Snoop and Gin & Juice By Dre and Snoop." She highlighted how this year’s event aims to blend sports with entertainment in a unique way.

Playfly Sports played a significant role in securing this sponsorship deal. Mike Schreiber, Playfly Founder and CEO, commented on their approach: "From the outset, we leveraged fan data to understand the valuable intersection between college sports and entertainment."

The Arizona Bowl donates all net proceeds to charity while offering national television exposure and branding opportunities for sponsors.
