Five Eastern Michigan University tennis players have been honored for their academic achievements by being named to the 2024 Academic All-Mid-American Conference list. The announcement was made on May 14, with the Eagles tying for third in the MAC alongside the University of Toledo. Northern Illinois University and Western Michigan University each had six players receiving this accolade. Overall, 32 student-athletes from across the league were recognized for their academic performance during the 2024 tennis season.

Sabina Brichackova and Prerna Vichare led Eastern Michigan's selections, both earning their second Academic All-MAC recognition after being selected in 2023. Linda Eloundou, Andrea Quiroz, and Daniella Shved received their first honors. Each athlete participated in at least half of the team's competitions while maintaining a minimum GPA of 3.20.

Brichackova and Vichare became the 13th and 14th EMU athletes to receive multiple MAC academic honors. Eloundou, Quiroz, and Shved were recognized as the university's 48th through 50th all-time honorees on this list. Notably, Shved also earned a spot on the All-MAC First Team earlier this year.

The Eagles concluded their season on May 2 at the MAC Tournament semifinals against top-seeded Toledo with a score of 4-2. This marked Eastern's first tournament appearance since 2018. The team ended tied for third in conference standings with an overall record of 12-11 and achieved an undefeated home record of 11-0—their best since the 2003-04 season.
