Chairman John Moolenaar has announced his participation in the Inter-Parliamentary Alliance on China (IPAC). In a statement, he emphasized the importance of international collaboration to address challenges posed by China's policies. "The Inter-Parliamentary Alliance on China is crucial for international cooperation that will help counter CCP aggression, secure supply chains, and stand together to uphold freedom, human rights, and the rule of law," Moolenaar stated. He expressed his eagerness to share American viewpoints with global leaders.

IPAC consists of lawmakers from various countries who believe that joint efforts are necessary to hold China accountable. The alliance emerged from a shared view that previous assumptions about engagement with Beijing no longer reflect current realities. The Chinese Communist Party's governance is seen as increasingly authoritarian domestically and assertive internationally.
