**Road Closure Notice**
For the upcoming Irish Festival there are some road closures we want you to be aware of.
Friday, March 17th at 3p thru Sunday, March 19th at 8a. McEwan St between 5th St and 3rd St will be completely shut down and barricaded. The barricades will be set up on the south side of 5th St. so the intersection itself will be open for north bound traffic along with east and west bound traffic. This is for the safety of pedestrian foot traffic during the festival.
For the parade on Saturday, March 18th starting at approx. 1130am McEwan will be closed from State St to 3rd St. 5th St will be closed from Maple St to Pine St. There will be traffic detours set up. If are attending the parade get into town early to avoid traffic back up and delays. Be mindful that everyone is looking to have a great time and be patient. We will have officers and DPW workers out at the major intersections assisting where we can to keep things moving.
When the parade is over roads will be opened back up except the top closure listed above from 5th St to 3rd St.
During the parade the north bound traffic will shift into the East lane of South bound traffic. The south bound traffic will only use one lane which is the west south bound lane. The parade will travel south on McEwan in the North bound lanes from Wilcox Parkway to 3rd St and then disperse as they wish.
Lets have a safe and fun weekend!
