City of Beaverton issued the following announcement on Jan 25.
Hydro Dam Update - On Friday, January 21st, the Beaverton Hydro Dam gate was de-iced, and repaired and current water levels are continuing to flow normal.
The City of Beaverton would like to thank Dave Kepler and Greg Uhl of Four Lakes Task Force in their immediate neighboring response in reaching out to the City to offer support and help with mitigating strategies in de-icing and repair efforts of the broken gate.
The City of Beaverton DPW staff worked collaboratively with Four Lakes Task Force's, staff and engineers to ensure that ALL residents remained safe and informed.
As the new City Manager of Beaverton I was proud of the efforts the entire "Team" exerted in the collaboration of a swift and successful outcome.
