St. Clair Shores Firefighters issued the following announcement on Jan 12.
This year has not been a slow year for fires. Two of our recent fires occurred last week. The first fire, pictures 1-6, occurred on Sixth St. Firefighters encountered heavy fire in the back of the residence, the attic and extension to a parked car upon arrival. Special thanks to Roseville FD for their assistance on this fire. At the second fire, homeowners were alerted by a smoke alarm in the middle of the night and first arriving crews found a light haze in an upper bedroom.
Further investigation revealed a small attic fire that was quickly extinguished. No injuries were reported on either fire. Our family is always ready to help your family! Photo credit 1-3, Macomb County Scanner.
