City of Harrison recently issued the following announcement.

New Years Day System to Bring Accumulating Snow

-Measurable snowfall is expected New Years Day

-Snow intensity will begin to increase Saturday afternoon around 3pm and last through the overnight hours

-Highest snowfall amounts are expected to fall across the southern half of lower MI, with up to 2” still possible north along US-10

-Mainly snow expected, but some mix with freezing rain may be possible near the start of the event

-Falling temperatures may result in freezing roads

-Some drifting snow possible
