Village of Shepherd issued the following announcement on Sept 22.
A year ago today this long time resident, Don "Bub" Arndt passed on to his heavenly home and last night at the Village Council meeting, they accepted a piece of property that was donated in memory of "Bub" at the west entrance to the Village.
Council members will be seeking ideas to place on this property in his memory. Thank you Paula Arndt, your gift will cherish his memory for years to come.
