City of Mount Pleasant issued the following announcement on Nov. 30.
Downtown Mt. Pleasant will be filled with holiday spirit at the 26th annual Christmas Celebration slated for Dec. 6-7. Enjoy a sing-along and tree lighting at 6 p.m. on Friday. Saturday features the Jingle All-The-Way 5K and 5 Mile Run, a 9 a.m. – 12 noon breakfast with Santa, and 6 p.m. lighted parade.
