City of Mount Pleasant issued the following announcement on Oct. 25.
The Pumpkin Promenade is scheduled for Thursday, October 31, 2019 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. in downtown Mt. Pleasant. Please note the following roads will close at 3:30 p.m. and reopen at 6:00 p.m.
All cars parked on the street in the areas noted below must be moved by 3:00 p.m. Access to parked cars will not be permitted from 3:30 – 6:00 p.m.
Broadway Street will be closed from Main to Franklin Street.
Main Street will be closed from Broadway to Illinois Street.
