Bill G. Schuette, a Michigan State Representative, shared a series of posts on his X (formerly Twitter) account reflecting on recent events and commemorations. His statements addressed the death of Charlie Kirk, political violence, and the remembrance of September 11.

On September 10, 2025, Schuette expressed his reaction to recent events by stating, "I’m saddened at the death of Charlie Kirk and horrified by this act of political violence. My prayers are with his young family and our country."

The following day, on September 11, he marked the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks with a message: "Today, we take a special pause to honor our heroes, mourn those lives lost and work to serve and protect our nation. #NeverForget https://t.co/GfqEeOPtq5"

Later that same day, Schuette posted about participating in a remembrance ceremony: "Honored that @CityofMidlandMI Police Chief Ford could join me at the Michigan State House 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony today. The sacrifices our first responders and military heroes make for our communities when they put on the uniform is inspiring."

Schuette has previously served as an advocate for public safety measures in Michigan’s legislature. The annual September 11 ceremonies across the United States commemorate those who died in the terrorist attacks of 2001 and recognize first responders' contributions.
