Bill G. Schuette, a public official active in Michigan, shared updates on community events and education policy through several posts on his X (formerly Twitter) account.

On August 12, 2025, Schuette reported broad participation at a regional business event: "More than 500 @MBAMidland , @saginawcc, @BACCGov and Mt. Pleasant members in attendance today at the annual chamber summit! Glad to have signed tributes for the deserving award winners and appreciated the time and conversations had today. Lots of good going on in our region!"

Addressing educational concerns the following day, Schuette commented on state school rankings and legislative actions regarding student phone use: "Students across Michigan go back to school this month, but Democrats stopped legislation to keep kids off their phones in class. We rank 44th in the nation in reading, we can’t be okay with the status quo. We need to change the culture in our schools, let’s get this done." According to recent reports, Michigan has consistently ranked low nationally for K-12 reading proficiency among students.

On August 13, Schuette also attended a local event supporting youth agricultural activities: "Had a great day at the Midland County fair! Lots of friends at the @midlandgop booth and purchased a pair of ducks supporting our local 4H at the small animal auction. Love fair week and can’t wait for more fun." Events like county fairs play an important role in rural communities by supporting programs such as 4-H that foster youth development through hands-on learning experiences.

Schuette's social media activity highlights both his engagement with local organizations—such as business chambers and agricultural groups—and his ongoing interest in state education policy debates.
