The House Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party has released a documentary marking its two-year anniversary. The film highlights the committee's efforts to address threats posed by the CCP to the United States.
The documentary includes interviews with leaders from government, academia, and private sectors, showcasing how the committee has influenced American policy regarding the CCP. Chairman John Moolenaar emphasized the multifaceted threat posed by the Chinese Communist Party, stating: "The Chinese Communist Party poses a military threat to America and our allies, an economic threat to our companies, and an ideological challenge to freedom and liberty around the world."
Moolenaar further detailed that over the past two years, the committee has highlighted issues such as fentanyl distribution, intellectual property theft, international repression, Taiwan relations, and trade as various fronts in what he describes as "the same war." He assured that "there is more work to do," indicating that the Select Committee will persist in promoting policies aimed at fortifying America against these challenges.
