Eastern Michigan University's women's basketball team is set to face Ohio University this Saturday, January 25, at the Convocation Center in Athens, Ohio. The game will begin at 1 p.m. and will be available for streaming on ESPN+ with commentary by Sam Hyman, Dave Cecutti, and Taniah Stephens.

In preparation for the game against Ohio, the Eagles have been focusing on maintaining their recent performance levels. Olivia Westphal has been notable for her shooting skills, leading the Mid-American Conference (MAC) with an average of 2.6 three-pointers per game. She recently matched her career-high with five three-pointers against Northern Illinois.

Sisi Eleko continues to impress as she ranks second in the MAC for points and rebounds per game while being the only player in the conference averaging a double-double. Mackenzie Amalia has also shown improvement during league play, contributing significantly to the team's offense.

The upcoming match marks another chapter in EMU's ongoing series with Ohio University. Historically, EMU trails behind Ohio in their encounters but aims to improve their standing this weekend.

The Bobcats of Ohio enter the match with a record of 3-14 and are seeking to break a five-game losing streak. Kennedi Watkins leads Ohio with an average of 16 points per game.

Following this matchup, Eastern Michigan will continue its road games as they head to Kent State University on January 29.
