Eastern Michigan University's tennis team has announced its 2025 spring schedule, featuring 23 matches, with half of them to be played at home. Head Coach Ryan Kucera revealed the schedule on December 5, highlighting the team's ambition for the upcoming season.

"We are really excited about our schedule this spring with so many great opportunities ahead," said Kucera. "We cannot wait for our fans to see us host tough opponents like Butler and UIC. We also have a strong road schedule to prepare us to attack the MAC schedule and accomplish our mission of being MAC champions!"

The Eagles will begin their season with a doubleheader against Ferris State University on January 18 at the Chippewa Club in Ypsilanti. They will then travel to Ohio for matches against the University of Cincinnati and the University of Dayton before returning home to face Oakland University on February 1.

The team plans a trip to southern California during Spring Break, where they will compete against the University of California San Diego and the University of California Riverside. Following these games, they return home for a match against the University of Illinois-Chicago on March 8 before starting Mid-American Conference (MAC) play.

In April, Eastern Michigan's regular season concludes with five matches, including Senior Day against Bowling Green State University on April 13. The Eagles aim to qualify for the MAC Tournament hosted by Toledo from April 24-25, which offers an automatic berth in the NCAA Championships.

Under Kucera's leadership, Eastern Michigan ended last season with a 12-11 record and reached the semifinals of the MAC Tournament for three consecutive years. The team achieved an impressive 11-0 home record last season.

Returning players bring experience and talent, supported by several new additions to the roster. Notably, Sabina Brichackova and Prerna Vichare performed well in fall events, finishing second in doubles at the inaugural MAC Fall Individual Championships.
