The Eastern Michigan University (EMU) soccer team has tied the Mid-American Conference (MAC) record for the number of student-athletes named to the Academic All-MAC Team. The conference released a list on December 5, 2024, that includes 140 student-athletes, with EMU contributing 18 names to this honor roll.

The Academic All-MAC award is presented to student-athletes who demonstrate excellence both in their sports and academics. To be eligible, athletes must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least half of their team's competitions during the season.

Among those recognized from EMU are seniors Sophia D'Ambra and Meagan Lukowski, who both earned this distinction for the third time in their careers. Senior Sam Lenaghan also received recognition alongside juniors Mary Grimes and Lily Spotak, who are each being honored for the second time.

Eastern Michigan's achievement matches Ball State's previous record of 18 honorees set in 2021. Other schools with notable numbers of students on the list include Central Michigan with 16 and Akron with 14.
