The Eastern Michigan University (EMU) women's basketball team is preparing for an upcoming match against the University of Detroit Mercy Titans. The game will take place on Tuesday, November 26, at Calihan Hall in Detroit. Fans can watch the game live on ESPN+ or listen to it on WEMU (89.1 FM) and The Varsity Network app.

In a collaborative effort off the court, both EMU and Detroit Mercy are organizing a Winter Clothes Drive. This initiative aims to support local families by collecting coats, hats, and gloves. Fans contributing new or gently used winter clothing at either the women's game on November 26 or the men's game in Ypsilanti on November 30 will receive a free ticket to that event.

Eastern Michigan's player Sisi Eleko has been performing notably this season, averaging 21.3 points and 12 rebounds per game. She ranks highly both in her league and nationally in these categories. Olivia Westphal is another standout player for EMU, excelling in three-point shooting with an average of four successful shots per game.

Detroit Mercy enters this matchup with a record of three wins and one loss for the season. Aaliyah McQueen leads their scoring efforts with an average of 13.5 points per game.

Historically, Detroit Mercy holds a narrow lead over Eastern Michigan in their series, having won 16 out of their past encounters compared to EMU's 15 victories.

The upcoming game marks another chapter in Eastern Michigan's interactions with teams from Michigan as well as institutions within the Horizon League.

Following this match, EMU will host Xavier University on December 1 at George Gervin GameAbove Center.
