The Eastern Michigan University (EMU) volleyball team is set to conclude its 2024 season with a pair of matches against the Buffalo Bulls. The games are scheduled for Friday and Saturday, November 15-16, at the George Gervin GameAbove Center in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Friday's match will begin at 6 p.m., while Saturday's game is slated for a 4 p.m. start.

Fans interested in following the action can do so through live streams and statistics available on the EMU volleyball schedule page. Updates will also be shared on social media platforms X and Instagram via @EMUVolleyball and @EMUAthletics.

Eastern Michigan holds a favorable all-time record against Buffalo, standing at 22-9 overall. However, they aim to improve their recent performance as they have lost six of their last ten encounters with Buffalo. Head Coach Kevin Foeman seeks his first victory over Buffalo since taking charge of the Eagles.

This season has seen several standout performances from EMU players. Freshman Hatteras Welker has been particularly notable with her defensive play, leading the team with a total of 124 blocks—a record for an EMU freshman in the rally scoring era. Her achievements have placed her among national leaders in blocking statistics.

Graduate student Angel Baylark set an EMU record earlier this season with her performance against Valparaiso, where she recorded 12 blocks in a four-set match.

Additionally, senior Hannah Blaney reached a significant career milestone by surpassing 1,000 digs during her tenure at EMU. She currently ranks first in total digs within the Mid-American Conference (MAC).

As Eastern Michigan looks forward to wrapping up its current campaign against Buffalo, it reflects on what has been an impressive year compared to previous seasons. The team has already surpassed its win totals from both 2022 and 2023 combined and hopes to add further victories before closing out this year’s competition.
