The Eastern Michigan University men's basketball team is set for a four-day road trip, facing IU-Indianapolis on Thursday and Cleveland State on Saturday. Both games will be broadcasted on ESPN+. The team recently achieved an 83-58 victory over Siena Heights, with senior Jalin Billingsley scoring a career-high 32 points.

Eastern Michigan has introduced 11 new players to its roster this season, including seniors from DePaul and other institutions. Returning players include Arne Osojnik, who led the MAC in freshman scoring last season. Head coach Stan Heath enters his fourth year with the Eagles, holding a record of 32-63 at EMU.

Jalin Billingsley's performance against Siena Heights marked the highest scoring effort in the MAC so far this season. Senior Jalen Terry also contributed significantly with 14 points and nine rebounds. Freshman Godslove Nwabude showed strong rebounding skills, while Mario Brunetto made his first collegiate three-pointer.

The Eagles demonstrated solid defense by limiting opponents to a 38.1% field goal percentage, ranking second in the MAC. Junior Christian Henry led the team in scoring during their game against Texas State earlier this month.

EMU's preseason coaches' poll ranked them ninth in the MAC after finishing tenth last season. The team's upcoming schedule includes games against Oakland and Detroit Mercy later this month.

Eastern Michigan's roster features international players from Senegal, Nigeria, and Italy, contributing to one of the highest numbers of African true freshmen in the nation.
