The Eastern Michigan University women's basketball team is preparing to face Michigan State University for the first time since 2019. The game will take place on Monday, November 11, at the Breslin Center in East Lansing, Michigan. Tip-off is scheduled for 6:30 p.m., and the match will be broadcast live on Big Ten Network Plus with Derrick Mitchell providing play-by-play commentary and Serena Schroeder serving as an analyst.

"Sisi Eleko scored 17 points and added 16 rebounds against Alabama A&M," marking her first double-double with Eastern Michigan and her career's nineteenth overall. Eleko ranks third in scoring within the Mid-American Conference (MAC), averaging 22.5 points per game, and leads in rebounding with an average of 12.5 per game.
"Olivia Westphal connected on three triples against Alabama A&M," bringing her season total to eight three-pointers after making just 23 last year. This marks her first consecutive games scoring three or more three-pointers.
Eastern ranks sixteenth nationally in three-point field goal defense, limiting opponents to a .148 shooting percentage from beyond the arc. "Sahar Nusseibeh...spent the previous three seasons leading the Canisius program." She becomes Eastern's head coach after Suzy Merchant's tenure ended in 1998.
Michigan State is led by Head Coach Robyn Fralik, who guided them to victories over Oakland (107-42) and Yale (100-44). Grace VanSlooten is notable for averaging 17 points and seven rebounds per game for MSU.
