The Eastern Michigan University volleyball team is set to face Ball State University in two matches on November 1st and 2nd. The games will be held at Worthen Arena, located at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. Fans can follow the matches through live stats and watch links available on the EMU volleyball schedule page.

Eastern Michigan holds a historical record of 28-60 against Ball State. They have not defeated the Cardinals since 2020, with their last victory in Muncie dating back to 2015. Head Coach Kevin Foeman is still seeking his first win against Ball State as head coach of the Eagles.

The team has shown improvement this season, surpassing their win totals from previous years with a five-set victory over Ohio on October 10th marking their 13th win of the season. This marks a significant improvement compared to previous seasons.

Eastern Michigan ranks highly both nationally and within the Mid-American Conference (MAC) across several statistical categories. Nationally, they are fourth in total blocks and rank within the top fifty for other metrics such as total attacks and team digs.

Notably, freshman Hatteras Welker leads defensively with significant contributions in blocks per set while senior Hannah Blaney leads in digs nationally and within MAC standings.

As postseason approaches, Eastern Michigan aims to secure a spot in the MAC Tournament starting November 22nd, potentially marking their first appearance since winning it all in 2018.
