Savannah de Bock and Mariana Vega led the Eastern Michigan University (EMU) women's golf team to a commendable performance at the 2024 Hurricane Invitational, held on October 28-29 in Coral Gables, Florida. The tournament marked the final fall event for EMU's Eagles, who finished ninth overall at the par-72, 6,175-yard Biltmore Golf Course.

Individually, Savannah de Bock from Belgium achieved her fifth top-eight finish this fall by securing second place with a score of six-under, 210. Her performance included a standout second round where she carded a 68. Mariana Vega from Colombia tied for 17th place at three-over, matching her career-low score of 219 from a previous tournament. Freshman Maddysun Beeching also improved significantly by recording her lowest collegiate score to date.
