Eastern Michigan University student-athlete Rebekah Knapp has been named the Mid-American Conference Women's Diver of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Wednesday, October 23.

Knapp, from Mesa, Arizona, demonstrated strong performance by securing an NCAA Zone Diving Championships cut in the 3m dive with a personal-best score of 317.25 points. She also achieved fourth place in the 1m dive with a score of 245.03 points.

This recognition marks Knapp's second career award and is notable for being the first under Head Diving Coach Tom Gimm's leadership. Knapp was previously honored last season after finishing first in the 3m dive during Eastern Michigan's victory over Bowling Green on January 26.

Looking ahead, Knapp and her team will compete against the University at Buffalo this Saturday, October 26, as they begin their MAC competition at 11 a.m.
