The Eastern Michigan University (EMU) baseball team is set to face Ohio State University in a matchup scheduled for Tuesday, May 7, at Bill Davis Stadium in Columbus, Ohio. The game will begin at 6 p.m., marking EMU's second encounter with a Big Ten opponent this season.

Fans can keep up with the game through live stats and watch links available on the EMU baseball schedule page at EMUEagles.com. Updates will also be provided on EMU's social media platforms, including X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram.

Following the Ohio State game, the Eagles will return to Oestrike Stadium for their final home series of the season against Bowling Green State University from May 10-12.

Logan Hugo and Glenn Miller have each achieved significant milestones by reaching 100 career hits this season. Cory Taylor is close behind with 99 hits. The Eagles rank third in the Mid-American Conference (MAC) in both hits and batting average.

Cory Taylor had an impressive performance against Oakland University on April 9, recording five hits—the first Eagle to do so since Jeff Timko in 2018. A win against Ohio State would mark the first time since 2018 that EMU has defeated multiple "Power Five" opponents in one season.

Eastern Michigan holds a historical record of 5-10 against Ohio State but has won their last two meetings. The Buckeyes currently stand ninth in the Big Ten conference with an overall record of 23-22.

Former Eagle Max Schuemann recently made his Major League Baseball debut with the Oakland Athletics, becoming Eastern's 18th alumnus to play in the majors.

The Eagles lead the MAC in doubles and are highly ranked nationally for their slugging percentage. They have shown resilience throughout the season, notably coming back from deficits to secure victories against Central Michigan.

After facing Ohio State, EMU will prepare for its final home series of the year before concluding their regular-season schedule.
