Eastern Michigan lacrosse players honored on MAC All-Tournament Team

Following the 2024 Mid-American Conference Lacrosse Tournament, held on May 2 and May 4 in Mount Pleasant, Michigan, two players from Eastern Michigan University were named to the MAC All-Tournament Team. The announcement was made by the league on May 4. Abby Alderman from Lusby, Maryland, and Kelsea Dague from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, were recognized for their performances during the Eagles' semifinal match against Robert Morris University.

In their first postseason appearance, the third-seeded Eagles narrowly lost to the second-seeded Colonials with a score of 12-11 at Central Michigan University's Lacrosse Complex. Alderman contributed one goal and one assist, while Dague scored two goals, marking her eighth game of the year with multiple goals. Dague also secured five draw controls, and Alderman added four more, helping Eastern Michigan achieve a draw advantage of 20-6 in the game.

The defeat concluded Eastern Michigan's second season with a record of 7-9. This marks an improvement over their inaugural season record of 2-14 in 2023. The team finished tied for second place in the MAC standings with a conference record of 4-2, showing progress from their previous year's mark of 1-7.
