The Eastern Michigan University (EMU) football team is set to face the University of Toledo on Saturday, November 2. The game will start at noon and will be broadcast nationally on ESPNU, as announced by the Mid-American Conference Office.

This upcoming match marks the 14th time EMU has been featured in a nationally televised game on ESPNU since 2005. A victory for EMU would be their first win on this network. Their last appearance on ESPNU was during the 2022 season when they also played against Toledo.

Historically, Toledo leads the series with a record of 37-13-0, including a recent victory over EMU with a score of 29-23 at the Gass Bowl on November 8, 2023.

Following a successful Homecoming game, Eastern Michigan aims to continue its winning streak as they prepare to play against the University of Akron on Saturday, October 26. This Mid-American Conference contest will take place at InfoCision Stadium in Akron, Ohio, starting at 3:30 p.m. The Eagles currently hold a record of 5-2 overall and are seeking bowl eligibility with one more win. Meanwhile, Akron is still looking for its first league win this year.

Both EMU and Toledo share an overall record of 5-2 heading into the weekend. They have an opportunity to secure bowl berths and could potentially lead in bowl appearances within the MAC since 2016 if they achieve their seventh appearance this season. Both teams are currently tied with Ohio at six appearances.
