The Mid-American Conference has confirmed the game time and broadcast details for the upcoming football match between Eastern Michigan University (EMU) and the University of Akron. The game is scheduled for Saturday, October 26, at 3:30 p.m.
Fans can watch the game live on ESPN+ or listen to it on WEMU (89.1 FM) and The Varsity app. Tom Helmer, Rob Rubick, and Greg Steiner will provide commentary from the booth.
Eastern Michigan aims to secure its fifth consecutive victory over Akron. Last season, EMU achieved a narrow 30-27 win in double overtime in Ypsilanti. The team also won their previous two encounters at Akron, including a 34-28 victory on November 8, 2022.
Before facing Akron, EMU will host Central Michigan University for a Michigan MAC game on October 19 at Rynearson Stadium. This match marks EMU's 96th Homecoming contest and will begin at 2 p.m., available to stream on ESPN+, WEMU (89.1 FM), and The Varsity app.
