The Eastern Michigan University tennis team participated in the 2024 ITA Midwest Regional Championships at the Ty Tucker Tennis Center in Columbus, Ohio, from October 10 to 12. Daniella Shved led the team by advancing to the second round of the singles main draw. The tournament was hosted by Ohio State University and saw three Eagles competing.

Shved, hailing from Holon, Israel, was the only Eastern player to compete in the main draw. She won her first match against Eleanor Nobbs from DePaul University with scores of 7-5, 5-7, 6-2. In her next match, Shved lost to Emily Sartz-Lunde from the University of Michigan with a score of 6-3, 6-4. "Shved was one of only two players from non-power conference schools to reach the Round of 32," making her the first Eagle to achieve this since Klara Supejova in 2015.

In the qualifying tournament preceding the main draw, Sabina Brichackova and Iva Daneva represented EMU. Brichackova defeated Brynn Chaffee from Bowling Green State University but fell to Nau Nishino from Ohio State. Meanwhile, freshman Iva Daneva marked her regional debut with a win against Nataly Ninova Mirslavova from Northern Illinois University before losing to Carrie Bechman from Notre Dame.

Brichackova and Daneva also competed together in doubles. They won their first-round match against Danielle Badman and Anna Belogliadova from Bradley University but were defeated by Shelly Bereznyak and Nishino from Ohio State in the second round. Brichackova's victory marked her second consecutive year winning a doubles match at an ITA event.

The Eagles will continue their season at the MAC Fall Women's Tennis Individual Championship hosted by Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, from October 24 to 27.
