Eastern Michigan University is preparing for its 103rd Homecoming celebration, scheduled from October 15 to 19. The week will culminate with a football game against Central Michigan University on Saturday, October 19, at Rynearson Stadium. Tickets for the game can be purchased online or by contacting the EMU Ticket Office.

This year's Homecoming is particularly significant as it coincides with EMU's 175th anniversary. Events throughout the week are themed "Paint it Green!" and include various activities designed to engage alumni, students, and fans.

The highlight of the week is the football game against Central Michigan Chippewas. The Eagles aim to improve their all-time Homecoming record of 48-45-2 after last year's victory over Ball State.

On Saturday morning, former EMU football players can attend the EMU Football Lettermen's Breakfast at Ann Arbor Marriott Ypsilanti at Eagle Crest. This event includes a meal and insights from the coaching staff about game-day strategies.

The Alumni & Friends Tailgate will take place on Rynearson Stadium's front lawn starting at 11 a.m., offering food, beverages, games, and entertainment before kickoff.

An All-Sports Reunion invites former student-athletes and coaches to reconnect before the game with field-level access and premium seating in the south end zone.

Other events include the EMU Baseball Golf Outing on Friday morning at Eagle Crest Golf Club and a Men's Basketball Golf Outing later that day. Track & Field alumni can participate in an Alumni Mile race on Saturday morning.

To enhance tailgating experiences, new procedures have been introduced for parking around Rynearson Stadium. Special Family Tailgate Zones will be available for attendees.
