The Eastern Michigan University men's basketball team has announced its 18-game Mid-American Conference (MAC) schedule for 2025. The season will commence with a game against Northern Illinois University on January 4, 2025, as revealed by the MAC on August 14.
This marks the first time since the 2011-12 season that EMU's MAC opener is against Northern Illinois. The team will conclude the regular season with away games at Ohio University on March 4 and Kent State University on March 7. This will be the fourth time in five seasons that EMU ends its regular season with consecutive road games. Additionally, the match against Kent State signifies the sixth consecutive season where EMU finishes on the road.
EMU is scheduled to participate in three doubleheaders with the EMU women's basketball team during the conference season. Two of these doubleheaders are home games (January 11 vs. Akron and February 15 vs. Toledo), while one will be an away game (February 22 at Northern Illinois).
The top eight teams in the MAC standings will qualify for the 2025 MAC Tournament, which begins on March 13 at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio. The championship final is set for March 15, with the winner earning an automatic berth into the NCAA Tournament.
