EMU announces themes for six home football games in 2024

Eastern Michigan University Athletics has announced the themes for the six home games of the 2024 football season, set to take place at The Factory in Ypsilanti.

The season kicks off on September 14 with a game against Jacksonville State, presented by McLaren Health Care. The event will feature the third annual Car Show, showcasing classic automobiles along the stadium terraces. EMU alumni Phil Incarnati and Mike and Linda Morris will be honored during this game for their contributions to the Championship Building Plan campaign.

On September 21, Saint Francis visits for Hall of Fame & Band Day, presented by EMUCU. The Eastern Michigan Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2024 will be inducted, including Kory Hallas, Tavelyn James, Matt Shoemaker, and Gina Tempro. Jack Brusewitz will receive the Ron Oestrike Distinguished Service Award. High school bands from across Michigan will perform alongside EMU's Pride of the Peninsula during halftime.

City Connect Day on October 12 features a matchup against Miami (OH), presented by DTE. This event celebrates Ypsilanti and Washtenaw County's local businesses and community members. The Temptations will perform with the EMU Marching Band during halftime. Kids Club Day activities include a pre-game high-five tunnel for young fans who are members of Swoop's Jr. Eagles Kids Club.

Homecoming & Family Weekend is scheduled for October 19 against Central Michigan, presented by Trinity Health. Homecoming Week begins on October 14 with various activities aimed at reconnecting alumni with the campus community. Alumni can attend an All-Sports Reunion featuring exclusive access and complimentary food and beverages.

On November 2, Toledo comes to town for Salute to Service / Champions Day, presented by Michigan Army National Guard. This game honors military service members and celebrates EMU's championship teams and athletes.

The final home game on November 20 against Buffalo is Senior Night / MACtion, presented by MetroNet. This event honors the senior class playing their last home game while promising an exciting midweek matchup.

Ticket prices vary depending on seating sections:

- Reserved: $22

- General Admission (Home Sideline): $20

- General Admission (Visitor Sideline): $20

Special ticket offers include value packs ranging from $60 to $100 and group tickets priced at $8 per ticket with a minimum purchase requirement.

Season ticket packages offer exclusive benefits such as VIP parking and invitations to special events:

- Ultimate Fan Season Tickets: $180

- Chairback Season Tickets: $150

- Reserved Season Tickets: $120

- General Admission Season Tickets: $108

- Special Rates: $84 for faculty, staff, and young alumni; E-Club membership for former student-athletes: $200
