Eastern Michigan University (EMU) Head Women's Golf Coach Josh Brewer has announced the addition of sophomore Julianna Go to the team for the 2024-25 season. The announcement was made on August 2.
Go, originally from San Juan, Philippines, is transferring from King University in Bristol, Tennessee. During her time at King University, she was recognized as the Conference Carolinas Freshman of the Year for the 2023-24 season and earned First Team All-Conference Carolinas honors. She participated in 22 rounds across nine events with a stroke average of 77.91. Her notable achievements include a season-low score of 71 at the Bearcat Invitational and her first career win at the Agnes McAmis Memorial with a 36-hole total of 151. Additionally, she secured an eighth-place finish at the Conference Carolinas championship with a final round score of 73.
"Julianna brings us valuable depth and experience," Brewer stated. "She has competed and won high-level events in the Philippines and she has already tasted success as a collegiate golfer at the Division II level. We expect Juliana's game to blossom during her time in Ypsilanti. This is a very common trend in players like herself who love golf. I want to thank Julianna, her family and coach for believing in what we are building at Eastern."
Go will join senior Amaya Melendez from Ann Arbor, Michigan; sophomores Savannah De Bock from Ecaussinnes-d'enghien, Belgium; Maddysun Beeching from Camberley, Surrey, England; and freshman Mariana Vega from Barranquilla, Colombia—who have all previously committed to EMU.
