The Eastern Michigan University's men's golf team is set to embark on the 2024-25 season under the new leadership of Head Coach Andy Walker. The Eagles will compete against some of the nation's top teams across a series of prestigious tournaments throughout the fall and spring.

"I'm very excited how our strength of schedule has ended up," said Walker. "We are going to play in some great fields and on some world-class golf courses. I always look forward to playing in warm weather and we will do plenty of that this year (in Florida twice and in the Bahamas in October). I'm very excited to be able to finally coach in my home state of Arizona at a couple of venues I've played and competed at dozens of times. This team is a very long team, full of ball-strikers and I cannot wait to see how we compete on these great courses."

The season kicks off with the Southern Dunes Collegiate, hosted by USC at Southern Dunes Golf Club in Arizona, Sept. 9-10. The team will then travel to New Mexico for the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate at the UNM Championship Course, Sept. 20-21.

Next, the Eagles head to central Ohio for the Virtues Intercollegiate, hosted by Miami University at The Virtues Golf Club, Sept. 28-29. An individual event, The Indy at Forest Hills, follows on Oct. 4 at Forest Hills Country Club in Indiana, hosted by the RedHawks.

Continuing their fall journey, Eastern Michigan will compete in the West Bay Collegiate Invitational at West Bay Country Club in Florida on Oct. 6-7, hosted by FGCU. The fall season concludes with a spectacular event at the White Sands Bahamas Invitational, hosted by West Virginia at the Ocean Club in the Bahamas from Oct. 25-27.

The spring season begins with the Gator Invitational, hosted by Florida at the Mark Bosic Golf Course in Gainesville, Feb. 15-16. The Eagles then make their way to Nevada for the Lake Las Vegas Invitational, hosted by Louisiana and Arkansas State at Reflection Bay on Feb. 24-26.

March sees the team competing in the Desert Mountain Collegiate, hosted by Michigan at Desert Mountain in Arizona on March 8-9. This is followed by the Gopher Tommie Invitational, hosted by Minnesota at Wig Wam, March 24-25.

As the season progresses, the Eagles will participate in The Stitch Intercollegiate, hosted by NC State at Lonnie Poole in North Carolina, April 12-13. The Robert Kepler Invitational, hosted by Ohio State at the Scarlet Course in Ohio, follows on April 18-19.

The pinnacle of the regular season is the MAC Championships, hosted by Bowling Green at Pinnacle Country Club in Ohio from April 27-29. Success at this event should propel the Eagles into the NCAA Regionals, scheduled for May 12-14 at a location yet to be determined.

The season culminates with the NCAA Championship set to take place at Omni La Costa in California from May 23-28.
