Eastern Michigan University Head Men's Golf Coach Andy Walker announced the addition of two transfers, Daniel Robles Delval and Bavake Sihota, to the team for the 2024-25 season. The announcement was made on July 1.

Robles Delval joins Eastern Michigan from Rogers State University. At RSU, he was a three-time NCAA Regional qualifier and twice earned First Team All-Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Conference (MIAA) honors. He was named the 2022 MIAA Freshman of the Year and contributed to ten team titles and one individual event championship. In the 2023-24 season, he played in eleven tournaments, achieving six top-20 finishes and three top-10 finishes, including a runner-up finish at The Tulsa Cup. He tied the school's single-round record with a -7 (63) at the NCAA Super Regional Preview and earned MIAA academic honors.

"We are very fortunate to add Daniel to our lineup," said Walker. "He was a very sought-after recruit who brings a lot of experience, the ability to shoot low numbers, and some depth to our roster. I cannot wait to work with Daniel and help him in his last year of college golf as he prepares to play professionally."

Sihota transfers from the University of Michigan where he earned Academic All-Big Ten honors in 2023 and twice received U-M Academic Athletic Achievement awards (2022, 2023). In 2022-23, Sihota played in fourteen events with a 77.0 stroke average, recording four sub-par rounds. His notable performances include a career-low 54-hole total of 218 at the Island Resort Invitational and a career-low round of 68 at the Robert Kepler Intercollegiate.

"When you watch and hear the ball coming off of Bavake's club you know there's something different," Walker stated. "Bavake is transferring a short distance from the University of Michigan but I have a feeling he's going to come a long way in a short amount of time."

The duo joins previously committed players Timothy Chan (Hong Kong), Pietro Fenoglio (Italy), and Rory McDonald O'Brien (England).
