The Eastern Michigan University (EMU) Swimming & Diving program has received the Scholar All-America award from the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) for the 2024 spring semester. This marks the Eagles' 22nd time earning this distinction, as announced by the organization on June 24.

To qualify for this recognition, teams were required to achieve a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.0 during the Spring 2024 semester. Among those selected, 563 teams attained a GPA of 3.30 or higher.

This honor represents the second consecutive semester that EMU's Swimming & Diving team has posted a cumulative GPA ranking within the top-10 of all Division I teams named to the list. The squad recorded a program-high GPA of 3.780 in the spring semester, which also stands as the highest cumulative team GPA on campus.

Earlier in April, five student-athletes from EMU's swimming and diving team—Savannah Fisk, Ashley George (Waukesha, Wis./Waukesha South), Camryn Hughes, Rebekah Knapp (Mesa, Ariz./Skyline), and Ali Kudo (Guelph, Ontario/John F. Ross Collegiate Vocational)—received Academic All-District Awards from College Sports Communicators (CSC). This award honors student-athletes for their combined achievements in athletics and academics.

Subsequently, on April 17, the Mid-American Conference released its Academic All-MAC selection for the 2023-24 season, with 15 Eagles making the list.

Eight swimmers qualified for this honor: Olivia Clarino (Toronto, Ontario/Lawrence Park Collegiate Institute), George, Abbey Whipple, Kudo, Katie Shoen, Abby Szadorski (Oswego, Ill./Oswego East), Kiersten Russell (Clinton, Mich./Saline), and Madelyn Sursi (Mooresville N.C./Lake Norman).

Seven divers were also recognized: Hughes; Ciara Wheeler (Johnston Iowa/Johnston); Tierney Fraidenburg; Keira Veltigian; Knapp; Cate Migliori (Santa Clara Calif./San Joaquin Delta College); and Fisk.
