Farwell Powerlifting Team | Farwell Area High School fb
The Farwell Powerlifting Team has had a great season, with several lifters heading to State competition. Saturday’s meet in Mona Shores had some strong competition, and the Eagles rose to the occasion. There were PRs, medals earned, school records broken, and goals met. Many of these lifters are trying a brand new sport, challenging themselves more than they ever have before, and crushing their goals.
Anna Vanbuskirk placed 1st in her weight class. Ivy Frisch hit the automatic qualifier for her weight class of 425 pounds also qualifying for State. Dylan Mitchell placed second qualifying for the State meet with a total of 515 pounds. Wyatt Vanbuskirk placed 2nd with a total of 1025 pounds. Wyatt also broke the school deadlift record in the 207 pound weight class with 445 pounds.
