City of Harrison recently issued the following announcement.
Sunday Afternoon/Evening• Precipitation starts early-mid afternoon, slight chance of lightning through evening.
• Icy mix with slick roads possible in Central Michigan, mainly north of M-57 and east of M-37. Mostly rain south. Mostly snow north of Cadillac/Houghton Lake.
• Mild overnight, ice in Central Michigan may melt.
Monday
• Temperatures fall around/after daybreak, snow showers develop during the day.
• Quick changes in snow intensity, visibility, and road conditions possible.
• Variable accumulation: a dusting to a few inches, more likely in western to northwest portions of the lower peninsula.
• Gusts as high as 40 to 50 mph with scattered power outages.
