POSITION TITLE: Administrative Assistant – CTE
REPORTS TO: Director of Career and Technical Education
STARTING DATE: As soon as possible
COMPENSATION:
Wages commensurate with experience; per MEA Master Agreement.
QUALIFICATIONS:
● Associates degree in business related field preferred. Minimum requirement High School Diploma plus one year of secretarial or office experience/training.
● Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and telephone communication skills. Proficiency in the use of email, Google Suite for Education Applications (Google Docs, Sheets, Forms, and Slides) and Microsoft Excel
● Ability to establish and maintain accurate record-keeping systems.
● High level of integrity, discretion and confidentiality in all job functions.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Perform routine bookkeeping tasks for CTE Program purchases including processing requisitions, purchase orders, ordering, and receiving
● Manage phone and email communication from local school staff, bus garages, and communicate to CTE staff members
● Process, input, and report CTE Program data into local and state information systems
● Maintain a system of digital and hard-copy record management
● Update handbooks, manuals, and other documents as assigned
● Compile and process CTE mailings and parent communications
● Assist with CTE student enrollment and records management
