Farwell Area Schools issued the following announcement on July 9.
Contract negotiations are still currently underway, which determines the calendar for the school year, but I have been authorized to release the following dates for the 2021/2022 school year:
First day of school for students: August 30, 2021
Thanksgiving break: half day on November 23, 2021, no school November 24, 25, 26
Christmas break: no school December 20, 2021-January 2, 2022
Spring break: no school March 28, 2022-April 3, 2022
I know there are still a lot of questions about the plans for the 2021/2022 school year. Please bear with us while we get everything ironed out, and while we deal with the immense amount of construction at our facilities! Some days, we come in to school and have to relocate because our offices are a construction site! We're trying to be flexible, and we ask that you're flexible and understanding as well.
